Google's Pixel Buds 2a, which launched just last October at $129, are now selling for $99 across several major retailers. That's a solid discount for a pair of earbuds that already punched above their price class, offering active noise cancellation, a transparency mode, and a snug, lightweight fit that reviewers praised for disappearing into the ear.
The Buds 2a come in four colorways, including a purple option that Google is happy to point out AirPods still don't offer at the entry level. They also lean into Gemini integration, letting Pixel and other Android owners tap into Google's AI assistant more directly through the earbuds.
The catch, as with most ecosystem-locked accessories, is that iPhone and iPad users won't get the full feature set.
