DeepSeek has opened a developer preview for a new tool called Harness, aimed at helping developers build and run agentic workflows powered by its models. While details are still emerging, the framework appears positioned as DeepSeek's answer to tools like Claude Code and OpenAI's Codex CLI, giving developers a structured way to let AI agents plan, execute, and iterate on coding tasks with less manual scaffolding.
